Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

These terms apply to web design and development services provided by Seal Web Solutions ("we", "us") to clients ("you"). They sit alongside the individual quote you receive for your project.

1. Quotes & payment

2. Project scope & revisions

The quote you accept defines the scope of the project — pages, features and timeline. Up to two rounds of revisions are included as standard. Additional changes outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before any work is done.

3. Client responsibilities

4. Ownership & licensing

On full payment, you own the rights to the final website and the content you supplied. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and case studies unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Hosting & third-party services

Hosting, domains and third-party services (booking systems, email providers, analytics) are usually billed directly to you by the relevant provider. We can recommend providers but are not responsible for their service or pricing changes.

6. Maintenance & cancellation

Optional maintenance plans are no-contract: you can cancel at any time by emailing jack@sealwebsolutions.com. The plan will run to the end of the current paid month.

7. Liability

We do our best to deliver work to a high standard. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost revenue), or for issues caused by third-party services beyond our control.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing if the other fundamentally breaches these terms. If you cancel mid-project, the deposit covers work done to date and any further balance is invoiced for hours worked.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
